“Wudang Taoist Association & Martial Arts Research Institute” - Welcomes students from all over the world!
Wudang Mountain is the most famous birthplace of Traditional Chinese Martial Arts, Culture, Taoist Musik, and Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM. Our Institute is deeply connected with Taoism (not a religion but a philosophical concept), on the way of spiritual cultivation; Taoists often practice martial arts as an additional discipline.
Before the Song Dynasty, there were many martial arts masters and Wudang Taoist Priests here. The founder of Wudang Tai Chi Zhang Sanfeng, who developed Wudang movements of „inner boxing“, - the basics of Wudang Martial Arts.
Traditional Wudang Kung Fu is a wonderful system of longevity, combining health and fitness with the mysterious „flowing“ spirit in every movement, developing power and flexibly in the same time.
The Taoist culture of Wudang Mountains has a long history, so a lot of excellent Taoist masters inherited the knowledge from generation to generation.
We are traditional Cultural and Martial Arts institution, belonging to the Wudang Taoist Association and managed by the Daoist Priests. The Daoist Association selected high academic achievers and Martial Artistists from all over the country, trained them strictly to make sure they were qualified to be coaches in our Martial Arts School.
The Institute is located on the top of Wudang Mount "Tai He", near the Qiong Tai Middle Temple.
All the students and practitioners can practice Wudang Martial Arts, Meditation, study Language, Musik or TCM, or maybe just relax, hiking in the mountains and making photo sessions surrounded by the natural environment and enjoy the atmosphere of the ancient Taoist culture.
